Larissa Rabbiosi is Professor MSO at the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School. She holds a PhD from Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Her research interest lies in the relationship between a number of dimensions of organizational design (e.g., formal structures, coordination mechanisms, human resource management practices) and firm strategic processes and outcomes (e.g., international expansion, knowledge transfer, innovation). Her work has appeared in the Human Resource Management, Industrial and Corporate Change, Journal of International Management, Journal of World Business and Management International Review, among others.

Valentina Tartari is Associate Professor at the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School. She holds a PhD in Innovation Management from Imperial College London, United Kingdom. Her research interests include: analysis of university-industry collaboration, technology transfer, economics and management of innovation, patent analysis and appropriability strategies, and analysis of social influence on individuals' behaviour. In her work she has extensively used and developed surveys. Her work has appeared in Research Policy, Industrial and Corporate Change and the Cambridge Journal of Economics, among others.

Wolfgang Sofka is Professor MSO at the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School. His primary research focus is on how firms turn innovations into firm performance. This includes both the search for knowledge as well as capturing the economic returns. Apart from his academic publications, he has been active in working with industry partners and policy makers such as the European Commission or the German Association of the Chemical Industry. This research has resulted in important insights especially in the automotive and chemical sectors like the Competitiveness Report of the European Union or the innovation report of the German chemical industry.

Francesco Di Lorenzo is Assistant Professor of Strategy and International Business at the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School. He holds a PhD in Management Science from ESADE Business School and a MSc. in Business and Administration from Bocconi University. Francesco’s research interests include: how innovativeness of individuals and organizations influence strategic decision making, the role of multiple organizational performances for strategic change, antecedents and implications of mobility of strategic human capital, inter-organizational knowledge flows and the role of corporate venture capital for startup development. His research is empirically developed primarily in the pharmaceutical industry. Before starting his academic career, Francesco worked as consultant for McKinsey&Co. and for Accenture on projects mainly in the areas of post M&A integration, financial product design, and organizational restructuring.

H.C. Kongsted is Professor at the Department of Strategy and Innovation. He is MSc in Economics from University of Aarhus and PhD in Economics from University of Copenhagen. His current research interests include relationships between labour mobility and innovation, the impact of the mobility of university scientists on industrial innovation, and effects of recruitments on a firm’s propensity to conduct R&D that explores technological domains other than its existing knowledge pool.

Allan Hansen is Professor MSO at Department of Operations Management. He holds an MSc in Management Accounting and a PhD from Copenhagen Business School. His teaching and research evolves around performance measurement, evaluation and incentives in organizations. Diego Stea is Associate Professor at the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School. His research interests are broadly concerned with understanding how intra-organizational networks influence knowledge mobilization and individual level outcomes, how networks originate, and how they change over time. Diego holds a master's degrees from the University of Venice and from Cambridge University. He received his PhD from LUISS University.

Phillip Nell is a Chaired Professor at the Institute for International Business at WU Wien. He is also affiliated with the Department of Strategy and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School. Phillip has studied Economics and Business Administration in Germany, France, and Italy. He received his doctorate and habilitation from WU Wien (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Before joining academia, he gained considerable industry experience as a strategy consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. Phillip Nell is widely experienced both in degree-course and executive education. Besides Copenhagen and Vienna, he has taught at ESADE Business School in Spain, Università di Padova, Universität Linz, and at VSE in Prague. His research interests are centered on the organization of the multinational corporation, the management of subsidiaries, and the strategic role headquarters play in large and complex organizations. His research has been accepted for publication in Strategic Management Journal, Long Range Planning, Journal of International Management, Journal of World Business, Management International Review, International Business Review, and Research Policy.

Sara Vardi

Sara Vardi joined Human Capital Analytics Group in early 2015. Sara holds an MSc in Business Administration and Economics from Copenhagen Business School (Human Resource Management concentration) and a BSc in International Business and Politics also from CBS. Her research interests include strategic HRM, for example how to utilize analytics to help inform talent-related decisions or the use of pay and incentives in MNCs.
