PhD defence: Peter Kalum Schou

In order to obtain the PhD degree, Peter Kalum Schou has submitted his thesis entitled: Institutional Logics in Entrepreneurial Ventures: How Competing Logics Arise and Shape and Organizational Processes and Outcomes During Scale-Up

Friday, October 5, 2018 - 13:00 to 15:00

The purpose of the dissertation is to shed light on some of the organizational challenges of scale-up for entrepreneurial ventures that operate in a context of institutional complexity. It identifies different challenges and it  illuminates processes through which organizational actors seek to address these challenges by combining logics during scale-up. On a theoretical level, the dissertation contributes to the micro-foundations of institutional logics and institutional complexity. On a practical level, it offers a theoretical framework that may help entrepreneurial ventures overcome some of the organizational challenges they face during scale-up.
