Dana Minbaeva (MBA, Ph.D. in Economics and Business Administration) is a Professor of Strategic and Global Human Resource Management at the Department for Strategic Management and Globalization, and the Vice-President for International Affairs at Copenhagen Business School. Her research on strategic international HRM, knowledge sharing and transfer in multinational corporations has appeared in such top international journals as Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Human Resource Management, and many others. Professor Minbaeva published around 40 articles in international peer reviewed journals, numerous book chapters and reports. 

Professor Minbaeva is an Associate Editor for Human Resource Management and serves on the Editorial Boards for top international journals such as Academy of Management Review, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, among others. She received FUHU Teaching Award 2006 (CBS Best Teacher of the Year), Tietgen Prize 2008 (for the exceptional research efforts), the Jorcks Research Prize (for research achievements), the DSEB 2016 Research Dissemination Prizeand prestigious JIBS Decade Award 2013 (the most influential paper published in the Journal of International Business Studies ten years prior).

Professor Minbaeva is actively involved in the MBA and executive teaching at CBS and other European business schools. Previously, she has taught in Kazakhstan, Russia, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Finland and Germany as well as having held visiting research positions in the UK, Ireland, Australia and Canada.

Dana works in close contact with large Danish (e.g. A.P. Møller Mærsk, Novo Nordisk, Grundfos, etc.) and European (e.g. Shell, TESA, etc.) multinationals. In emerging markets Dana has worked with large Russian companies (e.g. Russian Railways, Rosatom, etc.) and with foreign multinationals operating in the Central Asia region (e.g. Chevron, ABN Amro, LG Electronics, CNPC, etc.).

 Dana is actively involved in the MBA and executive teaching at CBS (Copenhagen), as well as in ESMT (Berlin), NIT (Hamburg), Stockholm School of Economics Russia (St. Petersburg), and KIMEP (Almaty). Previously, she has taught in Kazakhstan, Russia, Lithuania, Kyrgyzstan, Finland and Germany as well as having held visiting research positions in the UK, Ireland, Australia and Canada.
