New Grant from the Velux Foundation:
Methods for Digital Inclusion (MEDIN)
The MEDIN project addresses digital exclusion among long-term incarcerated individuals in Danish prisons. It is based on close collaboration between CBS (Associate Professor Ursula Plesner and a PhD-student based at IOA), the Social Legal Aid Foundation, and the Think tank Justitia. Practically, the project aims to strengthen digital inclusion through educational methods and policy recommendations developed by the Foundation and the Think tank based on both research and experiments. From a research perspective, it generates new knowledge on the organization of digital inclusion, including on gliding responsibility, methods experiments, and policy implications. The project’s three work packages combine document analysis, interviews, and practice-based experiments for evidence-based solutions. Through an advisory board and broad dissemination, the project will anchor knowledge and create long-term impacts on digital inclusion in Denmark.
Big Congratulations!
