Although the ongoing projects at the DNRC are numerous, they can be categorised into the following six overall project themes:

  • Consumer neuroscience
  • Emotions, impulsivity and decision making
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Consciousness and decision making
  • Social interaction and emotion regulation
  • Aesthetics and design

The common objective for these projects is to provide more knowledge on human decision making, and in particular to improve our understanding of the psychological and neurobiological mechanisms at stake during different kinds of decisions. Projects are often a collaborative effort including partners from Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance, Copenhagen University, international partners and Master's students.
