Well Done, Department of Marketing!
It is always a pleasure in January to receive the numbers on how marketing colleagues are doing in research and teaching.
Take for example the numbers for this January. In teaching and learning, 40 colleagues will receive the department’s certificate of excellence. Compared to 2013, this is an increase of no less than 42%. However, teaching and learning is much more than student evaluations; and colleagues continue to develop and run great courses and programs, often collaborating with industry in so doing, and they sit on influential cross-department committees at CBS.
Also in research, which is behind our great teaching, colleagues perform outstandingly. From 2018 to 2019, the total number of AJG 3/4/4* articles and that of AJG 4/4* articles increased significantly, namely 75% and 80%, respectively. When compared to 2016, these numbers have increased 600% and 350%, respectively!
In terms of funding, colleagues also landed significant funding in 2019, namely from the prestigious Carlsberg Foundation and the EU/Horizon 2020.
With the ongoing work that our marketing research clusters (in B2B marketing, B2C marketing, Branding, Decision Neuroscience, Integrated design, Marketing ethics, Digital marketing, and Tourism and culture management) undertake, our journey should be on the right track.
Thank you everyone!
