Neva holds a Ph.D. in Communication from Purdue University, USA. Her research focuses on sensemaking of, and organizing around, various communication and organizing phenomena—primarily, in the area of corporate social responsibility (CSR)—to better understand complexities and dynamics behind actions that lead to organizational and social change.

She worked in data-driven consulting, advising clients in the Nordics and other parts of Europe on how to build a more sustainable world, before entering the tech world.
