Department of Management, Society and Communication

My research interests lay within the broad field of culture and organization with a particular interest in exploring how organizations and their social actors are shaped by the cultural and institutional contexts in which they operate. I am particularly interested in how practitioners operate at the interface between global and local practices and the implications it may have for leadership, management, communication and organizational identifications. I’ve explored these questions empirically in MNCs and SMEs in different regional contexts and adopting a multi-level and interpretive/critical approach to cultures and identities.
Currently, I am particularly interested in exploring processes of identifications among and around international/mobile employees. I am part of the European research project “Global mobility of employees (GLOMO), funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action, Innovative Training Networks (Horizon 2020). In this framework, I also supervise two Ph.D. students.
