I have a background in International Business, Risk and Business continuity and work as a lecturer at University College Copenhagen. With ten years of leadership experience managing large aviation networks and ground operations, including developing and applying Environmental, Social and Governance systems I can contribute with a strong professional background in the practicalities of international business. For the past couple of years, I focused on the Arctic and among other projects, been working on the business development and risk management within the emerging extractive industry in Greenland and the Faroe Islands. I’m interested in the relationship between multinationals and local communities, investigating the practices that these companies engage in, when managing financial, political and cultural risks.
