Department of Management, Society and Communication
As an external lecturer my main and privileged task is to teach my students to become competent and reflexive practitioners within my two fields of expertise: Danish-French marketing communication, and Philosophy of Science.
To do so requires, in the first instance, broad as well as indepth knowledge about the French language, society and culture, and about marketing intercultural communication in general – and the ability to apply this knowledge in a comparative perspective on France in its international context.
Teaching Philosophy of Science to business communication students I draw on my knowledge of intercultural studies in general to illustrate how the way in which we choose to solve practical problems is underpinned by ontological and epistemological assumptions, and to show students that the more aware they are of these assumptions and their implications, the better practitioners they will become.
