Two MSC researchers visit Japan

Liana Razmerita

Fumiko Kano Glückstad

Associate Professors Liana Razmerita and Fumiko Kano Glückstad visited Hitotsubashi University - near Tokyo - at the beginning of June. The research visit was organized by  Fumiko Kano Glückstad within "Cool Japan – Smart Denmark Initiative: Integration of Data Sciences in the Tourism Research”, a project funded by the International Network Program (PI: Fumiko Kano Glückstad).

Seminar at Hitotsubashi University

Liana Razmerita gave a research seminar within the Innovation Forum, at the Institute of Innovation Research, at Hitotsubashi University.  The seminar entitled: Navigating Digitalization with the Social Media Business Value Compass was attended by both faculty and PhD students. The research seminar was a great experience and an opportunity for discussing with faculty members from Innovation and tourism, gaining new cultural insights and receiving feedback.

Talk at the Japanese Marketing Academy

Fumiko Kano Glückstad gave the talk “A vision for mapping values and behaviors of inbound international tourists in Denmark” at an “Asia Marketing” research seminar arranged by the Japanese Marketing Academy. Participants from academia and industries gathered to discuss the topics followed by networking activity.

Apart from the research seminars, Liana and Fumiko explored how digitalization impacts the tourism industry and the Asian markets.
