New network on Social Innovation and Civic Engagement

Julie Uldam has received funding from Danish Ministry for Social Affairs

Julie Uldam has received funding DKK 395.821 from the Danish Ministry for Social Affairs to set up a network on Social Innovation and Civic Engagement. The network's online platform has just been launched at n-SICE.

The purpose of the network is to bring together leading academics and practitioners to discuss the role of civic engagement in volunteering and public/private partnerships. The network will host multi-stakeholder seminars with academic speakers and practitioners. A launch event will take place in London in July. The first workshop is scheduled for November in Copenhagen.
