Ahmad Zaki Faizi, external lecturer at MSC, has been awarded a grant from Timelærerforeningen for his interaction with the students in the classroom and his enhancement of feedback.

Thanking Zaki for his significant contribution to making CBS an innovative and relevant educational institution, Bjarne Ørsnes, the Programme Director of the EOK programme (English and Organisational Communication), further motivated the award with the following words: “Zaki manages to make students engage with the literature through exercises and blended learning. He develops online resources to encourage the students to work independently with the theoretical parts of the course on an interactive platform”.

The EOK Study Board emphasized in its nomination that Zaki Faizi shows how foreign language teaching can be combined and enriched with sophisticated up-to-date scientific insights about communication and interaction and how theory can be used in practice. He also shows in his teaching how online resources, extensive feedback and thought-provoking questions can assist the students in engaging with the topics.
