CBS Honorary Doctor Mary Uhl-Bien Receives Award
Each year the Network of Leadership Scholars (NLS) in the Academy of Management honors a a senior scholar whose work best reflects the mission of NLS to advance interdisciplinary dialogue and discussion regarding the study and practice of leadership.
MSC is proud to congratulate our colleague Professor Mary Uhl-Bien for receiving this year’s Eminent Leadership Scholar Award. Professor Uhl-Bien is a frequent guest and collaborator with colleagues at MSC. She was named a CBS Honorary Doctor earlier this spring, and will serve as keynote speaker at the 21st International Studying Leadership Conference, hosted by MSC in collaboration with the CBS Leadership Centre on December 10-12, 2023.
|About the ISLC conference
Co-chaired by MSC colleagues Nicole Ferry and Eric Guthey together with Sverre Spoelstra from the Department of Business Humanities and Law, the International Studying Leadership Conference takes place at CBS and features the theme ‘The Leadership Dynamics of Systems Change’. Besides Mary Uhl-Bien, Mollie Painter, Professor of Ethics and Organisation and leader of the Responsible and Sustainable Business Lab (RSB Lab) at Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University, will serve as keynote speaker.
