Welcome back: Argentina's new sustainable economic growth

Argentina

On the occasion of Día de la Hispanidad, Latin America Business Forum is inviting you to join a networking meeting concerning the Argentinian market and its opportunities and challenges.

Argentina’s USD 550 billion in GDP, is one of the largest economies in Latin America. Currently, Argentina is implementing economic and political transformations to establish a sustainable economic development. The presidential elections in 2015 led to a significant change in the Argentine economic policy, and it has moved with significant speed to implement structural reforms. For example, Argentina is taking a very active role on the international stage, and will host the eleventh World Trade Organization Ministerial Conference in December 2017 and the G20 in 2018.

Two important sectors of Argentina’s trade include energy and agriculture, where Argentina enjoys vast resources and great potential. In addition, Argentina has significant opportunities within high tech industries and manufacturing subsectors. Argentina is also one of the most urbanized countries in Latin America, and is searching for urban development solutions.

At this meeting we will discuss the development of the Argentine market and the opportunities and challenges Danish companies are facing.
