HARBOE

NOTE: This event will be conducted in Spanish

Background

Cuba has implemented some structural economic changes in the recent years as part of updating its economic model (e.g. the development of non-State formulas while modernizing the State management). In terms of foreign direct investment (FDI), on 29th March 2014, Cuba's National People’s Power Assembly passed a new foreign investment law aimed at attracting foreign capital, which provides greater tax incentives for foreign investors.

Harboe

Harboe is a Danish international beverage group with production facilities in 3 countries and business activities in more than 90 markets worldwide. Harboe produces and markets beverages and malt-based ingredients, and its business is based on strong values created by 5 generations who have built and managed this family-lead business.

Harboe international markets beers, soft drinks, energy drinks and non-alcoholic malt beverages in more than 90 markets in the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia/Oceania and the Americas as well as in a number of European markets outside Northern Europe. Harboe’s strategy is to increase Harboe International’s relative share of the group’s revenue and EBITDA through a focused strengthening of its position in international markets where economic and demographic developments support increasing purchasing power and a demand for quality products.

In Latin America and the Caribbean Harboe is present in the following countries: Antigua, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Cuba, British Guyana, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Republic and Uruguay.
