Doing Business in Cuba

H.E. Ambassador Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas

Ambassador of Cuba in Denmark

Cuba flag

Background

Cuba has implemented some structural economic changes in the recent years as part of updating its economic model (e.g. the development of non-State formulas while modernizing the State management). In terms of foreign direct investment (FDI), on 29th March 2014, Cuba's National People’s Power Assembly passed a new foreign investment law aimed at attracting foreign capital, which provides greater tax incentives for foreign investors.

In order to get an initial understanding of the updating process of Cuba’s economic model and implication to Danish firms H.E. Ambassador Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas will present an overview of Cuba’s socialist economical model.

Please register your attendance before April 30 by sending an e-mail to Zartashia Ahmed za.msc@cbs.dk.
