Concluding a three-years project Sustainable Business Models (SUSTBUS), the team behind SUSTBUS look forward to present and discuss the results of the project with researchers and practitioners at the SUSTBUS Seminar, taking place on April 26th, 2019, 14:00 – 17:00 at Kilen, Room Ks48, Kilevej 14, 2000 Frederiksberg.

This project has developed an educational program on Sustainable Business Models that covers a broad set of themes related to the design and innovation of sustainable business models and business practices. The project addresses the overarching need for more sustainable business models and business practices, which translates into a set of concrete solutions for companies facing to adequately deal with the problem of being sustainable while at the same time being competitive in the market place. 

 

The material developed consists of the following five online modules: 

  • The problem of sustainability in business
  • Business models for social and ecological sustainability 
  • Circular and collaborative business models 
  • Social innovation
  • Strategising and organising for sustainability
  • Business in a sustainable future

14:15 Welcome by Professor Esben Rahbek Gjerdrum Pedersen

14:20 SUSTBUS: Introduction to the project by Associate Professor Lars Jacob Tynes Pedersen and Associate Professor Sveinung Jørgensen, NHH Bergen.

14:45 Business Case presentation: KLS Pure Print, by CEO Kasper Larsen 15:15 Business Case presentation: Skagerak, by CEO Jesper Panduro

15:50 Panel discussion: Is Sustainable Business Models useful to research, education and practise? Facilitated by Associate Professor Sveinung Jørgensen,
