CBS Sustainability, in cooperation with Sustainability Science Centre at University of Copenhagen, is proud to present a seminar with a panel of distinguished international experts on climate change mitigation and human-environment interactions.

Addressing climate change demands rapidly finding new ways of meeting human needs. To do so we need ambitious governmental action, widespread adoption of low-carbon technologies, and strong corporate support. But what can we as individuals do? This question will be answered by four international experts who will offer heterogeneous perspectives and insights on how individual action can help limit climate change. The four presentations will be followed by a Q&A and dialogue between the audience and panel:

Paul Stern, Professor, Norwegian University of Science and Technology; and President, Social and Environmental Research Institute (United States of America)
Jonathan Gilligan, Associate Professor, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Vanderbilt University
Maria Figueroa, Assistant Professor, Department of Management, Society and Communication, Copenhagen Business School
Diana Ivanova, Researcher, Department of Energy and Process Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology

The seminar will be moderated by Katherine Richardson, Professor in Biological Oceanography, Leader of Sustainability Science Centre, University of Copenhagen.
