This webinar and panel discussion mark the launch of the textbook, "Corporate Sustainability: Managing Responsible Business in a Globalized World" (2ndedition, Cambridge University Press).

Abstract

Corporate sustainability has turned into a mainstream phenomenon throughout the last decade. However, many still fell that business schools are not doing enough to enable and further guide sustainable business practices. Are business schools focusing too much on theoretical rigor an too little on addressing real-life sustainability challenges? Have business schools done enough to embed sustainability and responsibility into their curricula? Do business schools reflect on their own sustainability practices and social as well as environmental footprints?

In this panel, Andrew Jack (Global Education Editor, Financial Times), Mette Morsing (Head of the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education) and Andrew (Andy) Hoffman (Holcim, US Professor of Sustainable Enterprise at the University of Michigan) debate whether and how business education can contribute to corporate sustainability. The panel is moderated by Andreas Rasche (Copenhagen Business School).
