Presentation and academic fields

Marta Juarez is an External Lector at Copenhagen Business School, Copenhagen.
She holds a Ph.D in Sociology from the University of Economics (Department of Sociology), Málaga and a Master Degree in Government and Public Administration from Complutense University, Madrid..
She has international work experience as educational and travel consultant for the Latin American – Spanish Tourism market.

Ph.D dissertation: ”Labour Integration of Skilled Immigrant Women in Denmark: Their Integration Strategies.”
Her research aim has been to analyse the integration process of skilled immigrants from a gender perspective in Denmark;
paying special attention to the labour integration strategies and taking into consideration perspectives of both the host society and the originating societies of the immigrant population being studied.

Primary Research Areas: Latin American Political and Social Systems, Social Policy and Gender, Nordic Welfare States, Labour Integration of Skilled Immigrants, International mobility and emigration.
