Department of Business Humanities and Law

My research sits at the intersection of Management, Organisation, Education, and Policy Studies, with a particular focus on the formation of gendered STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) interests and aspirations. I am especially interested in understanding the organising implications of the many public as well as private edu-actors that currently attempt to increase the representation of women in STEM. My work is inspired by theories on affect, temporality, and materiality, often merged in theories on glitter. I am trained as a political sociologist from London School of Economics and Copenhagen Business School, and I have been a visiting fellow at Columbia University (US), University of Melbourne (AUS), and University of Bologna (IT). I am a member of the editorial collective of ephemera.
