Presentation

My research focuses on how the Danish island of Samsø has achieved international acclaim by becoming Denmark’s Renewable Energy Island. By taking this island’s sustainable transition as my empirical starting point I explore the dynamics of storytelling, demonstration, entrepreneurship and materiality through the lens of empirical philosophy or STS (Science and Technology Studies).

Primary research areas
  • Sustainability/sustainable transitions/renewable energy
  • Sustainable entrepreneurship
  • Science and Technology Studies
  • Ethnography/Qualitative methodology
