I am interested in welfare state reform and particularly public-private-NGO collaboration, focusing at partnerships, new forms of contracts, network organization, hybrid forms of contracts and legislation. My approach is system theory.
In my industrial-Ph.D.: "The battle for day-care institutions seen through the prism of partnership" I am doing af casestudy. It aims to understand a partnership in a welfare context between the public sector and the NGO-environment, through which the initiative for the project arises from the NGO-environment.
It focuses on the development and implementation of a partnership project concerning 120 independent NGO-day-care institutions, their umbrella organization MDI (Menighedernes Daginstitutioner) an umbrella organization for the churches’ day-care institutions and three municipalities København, Århus and Svendborg.
The project investigates how the partnership can become an innovative and an administrative development as well as a framework for policy-making and an institutionalized context for the transverse performance of services between municipalities and NGO institutions.

- Masteropgave: Folkekirkens Nødhjælp og de ledelsesmæssige udfordringer når værdierne skal fastholdes. år 2004/05 (MPA).
