Amira Benali is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. She is an interdisciplinary scholar working on issues related to, gender, social justice, poverty and alternative economies in the intersection of management, geography, and socio-anthropology. Drawing on Feminist, postcolonial and post-development theories, her current project focuses on the social and solidarity economy. In particular, she is studying the experiences of marginalized women in the post-revolution Tunisia.
