New interim Head of Department at MPP

MPP is happy to announce that the Dean of Research has appointed Professor Mitchell Dean interim Head of the Department of MPP as of 1 March 2019. Mitchell Dean is taking over from Lotte Jensen, who has accepted a job offer as director of the research center ViVe in Copenhagen and Aarhus.

The post of head of department will be announced soonest possible. A new head of department is expected to start before the fall semester.

Mitchell Dean has been Professor of Public Governance at the Copenhagen Business School for the last six years. He is a political and historical sociologist and social and political theorist with an international research reputation in these areas and management and teaching research experience across the humanities and social sciences. He has held professorships in Sociology at Macquarie University, Sydney, and the University of Newcastle.
