New partnership

The CBS Entrepreneurship Platform has partnered up with ‘Vækst og Iværksætterugen' (the Danish Growth and Start-Up Week), which is held in week 47 and organised by the Danish Business Authority.

New PhD course in entrepreneurship research

Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller Professor of Entrepreneurship Mirjam van Praag, working in collaboration with the CBS Entrepreneurship Platform, organises and offers a new PhD course in Entrepreneurship. The course, ’Research Foundations in the Economics of Entrepreneurship‘, is a new initiative offering PhD students an in-depth understanding of the core terms and challenges in entrepreneurship research, focusing primarily but not exclusively on economics of entrepreneurship. Intellectual property management: web tool and book

A project supported by The Danish Industry Foundation and the Danish Patent and Trademark Office has just been completed. The project is a cross-university collaboration between Assistant Professor Lars Alkjærsig (DTU, Technical University of Denmark), Assistant Professor Karin Beukel (University of Copenhagen), and Professor Toke Reichstein (CBS), which maps intellectual property (IP) conduct among Danish firms. Based on extensive data collection and drawing on both quantitative and qualitative studies, the project offers important insights into the challenges facing firms in terms of (IP) conduct. In addition, the project demonstrates how firms should handle IP in order to turn it into profits. Read more here.
