I am a PhD fellow at the BiS Inequality Platform at CBS. The purpose of my PhD-project “Inclusive economic growth and Inequality” (co-funded by the Danish Institute for Human Rights) is to examine whether it is possible for countries to pursue a virtuous circle of inclusive growth, where economic growth and equality reinforce each other. Moreover, the purpose is to identity factors that are important to ensure an equal sharing of the benefits of growth. I will use mainly quantitative data and analyze the relationships by means of econometric methods at a global, regional and country level, thereby also linking macro and micro findings.
My general research interests are within the fields of economic development, inequality, poverty, developing countries, institutions and governance, human rights and quantitative methods.
I have a master in Economics from Aarhus University, and I have subsequently worked at the Central bank of Denmark and after that at the Danish Institute for Human Rights.
