Best Paper Nominations at the EIBA Conference

EGB was well represented at the EIBA conference in Madrid this December, with 2 nominations for the Best Paper award.

The paper nominations were:

Danny van den Bulcke best paper prize:

Toshi Ueta and Bent Petersen: Techno-nationalism and the (digital silk) road to state-driven standard-setting: implications to European firms (winner of the 'Intersections between International Business and Public Policy' track).

Michael J. Müller and T. Reus: Crimmigrants or role models? Immigrant CEOs and financial misrepresentation (winner of the 'International Business and the 2030 agenda' track).

Bent Petersen also won the 'Gloabl Value Chain' track best paper, for 'Internationalisation, value chain configuration and the adoption of additive manufacturing technologies', written with G. Magnani and S. Denicolai.

EGB was also represented in the EIBA tutorial ' EIBA 10th Danny Van Den Bulcke Doctoral Symposium' by three Ph.D's: Ornela Vladi, Chiara Andreoli and Francesco Caccioni.

The purpose of the Danny Van Den Bulcke Doctoral Symposium in International Business is to provide an opportunity for young doctoral students in the field of International Business to discuss their research proposals with IB faculty as well as with their fellow students. A secondary purpose is to acquaint them with an international network of professionals linked to the IB field and EIBA.
