Anne Jamison receives large grant from the Norwegian Research Council to study private investment in Africa

Assistant Professor Anne Jamison (EGB) and coauthors received a large-scale grant (> $1 million USD) from the Research Council of Norway. The three-year project will focus on the ways in which private sector development in Africa can exacerbate or mitigate conflict. Jamison will be joined by Brian Ganson of the University of Stellenbosch, Kristian Hoelscher and Andreas Forø Tollefsen from PRIO, Witold Henisz of the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, Nthabiseng Moleko of the University of Stellenbosch, and Jason Miklian from the Centre for Development and the Enivironment (SUM), University of Oslo.
