Department of International Economics and Management
PhDs are both part of our teaching and our research. Educating young talented researchers within our core fields of research is a way to disseminate our knowledge and at the same time PhD students brings new ideas for our research. Like other researchers at INT, PhDs are connected to one or more of the research centers. They are integrated in the research groups and they participate in seminars and research projects at the centers. At the same time, we support common activities for all our PhD students.
The group of PhDs at INT has grown steeply in 2012. The criteria for new recruitment will continue to be top-qualifications and we should always be ready for proposals from excellent potential PhD students within our fields of research. We will increase our effort for supporting the PhD group through intro seminars, PhD-days, and courses at INT.
