Network

 

Members of CLCS are active in a number of research networks.

  • Tourism Researchers in Denmark is a newly formed association of researchers who are working to advance tourism research and education in Denmark and to strengthen the Danish presence in international tourism research communities. With six research groups and over 50 researchers, the members of this association conduct research primarily within the research traditions of  social sciences and humanities.
     

  • Imagine.. Creative Industries Research Centre, based in CBS, conducts research on the organization of creativity in companies, projects and (transnational) networks. It is multidisciplinary in its approach and focuses on the on-going relation between creativity and commerce. Members disseminate their research findings to business and society by means of scholarly publications, media, workshops and other presentations. 
     

  • Nordic Society for Tourism and Hospitality Research (NORTHORS) is an academic platform for tourism and hospitality research in the five Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Beyond the promotion of collaboration amongst the Nordic partners, NORTHORS has an international orientation. It aims to make Nordic research visible in the international arena.
     

  • Air Transport Research Society (ATRS) is global special interest group within the air transport industry. It is a forum for multi-disciplinary studies in the field which organizes frequent symposia, conferences and regional meetings which appeal to airlines, airports, governments, research institutions and academia.
     

  • PREPARE is a European network of experts that aims to set the research and policy agenda on sustainable production and consumption, by catching up on new challenges and develop new innovative solutions. By connecting key stakeholders, PREPARE acts aims to act as a change agent for sustainable production and consumption. Informal and flexible, the network promotes high integrity and independence of research.
     

  • CORNELL Hotel Society (CHS). The Cornell Hotel Society is the alumni association of the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. The objective of the Society is to promote the interests of Cornell University, the Hotel School, alumni, administrators, faculty and students. The Society also promotes fellowship, networking, education, recruitment, career management, development, and financial assistance to students at the School, professionalism, and training in the hospitality industry
