Research Assistant at Center for Corporate Governance

Center for Corporate Governance at Copenhagen Business School is looking for two hard working research assistants interested in econometrics, data and statistical analysis.

At Center for Corporate Governance, you will be working in an exciting and international workplace, where professionalism is highly regarded. You will be working on analyzing data on worldwide new venture internationalization, such as their listing in different stock exchanges, their mergers and acquisitions, as well as subsidiary information. It is beneficial to be interested in society and business, and flexibility is highly appreciated, as you will be a part of different work assignments related to research and communication of this. Furthermore, a humoristic touch will be an advantage.

You will be working with software programs such as SAS or STATA, which means that knowledge and experience of one or both of these systems is beneficial - alongside an interest in econometrics and statistical analysis. At Center for Corporate Governance, you will be affiliated with various projects and you will work closely with researchers running these projects. The work will primarily take place in English - therefore good English skills are required.  Your work will be with quantitative data research, and it is therefore a must, that you are confidential with treatment of quantitative data and statistics. Furthermore, we highly appreciate skills of organizing and communication of knowledge and results. You must be systematic and careful and strong in your knowledge of IT.

To apply for the research assistant role you study for example Cand.Polit, Math-Economics, HA-mat or HA-almen or any studies near to these. The work hours are expected to be around 15 hours a week, and we are flexible around exams and wishes for summer holidays. Salary is according to the agreements on Student assistants at Copenhagen Business School.
