Asia Research Centre faculty contributes with research and educational inputs on Asia to various teaching programmes at CBS.


The Centre's faculty contributes with teaching on Asia related to the following degree programmes at CBS including Asia-related electives open to all CBS all students and to exchange and guest students at CBS.

  • The undergraduate programme Asian Studies Programme (ASP). ASP Currently consists of two tracks, one with a focus on Japan and the other with a focus on China. At ASP culture and language studies are combined with economics, sociology, communication and business studies, as well as project work. Contact: Michael Jakobsen
  • The bachelor and master degree (Cand. Merc.) in International Business. This programme has an interdisciplinary approach and builds on insights from business strategy, finance, corporate governance and politics, and gives the students an understanding of the international environment that companies operate in. In addition they also gain knowledge about the internal factors of an international company, such as management and international decision-making.   • The diploma programme in International Business. This program is meant to prepare business professionals for the challenges an international business leader faces and provides the skill set needed to navigate international markets and develop the strategy for international companies.
