Post-graduate student workshop-series: The Political Economy of Transition in India
This post-graduate student workshop-series take place over the course of five Thursays in November, and is arranged by Asia Research Centre, CBS in co-operation with Centre of Development Studies, Cambridge University and South Asian Studies, Oxford University.

The five workshops on "the Political Economy of Transition in India" will be led by leading scholars of contemporary India from Oxford, Cambridge, the Indian Institute of Management, and Copenhagen Business School.

Registration and important information:
All Workshops are free but registration is required and total enrollment will be limited to 15 students. You register by writing: arc.int@cbs.dk.
Students must be enrolled in either a master’s or PhD program and are expected to be somewhat familiar with Indian society, economy, and politics and must have taken some India-related courses. First preference will be given to CBS students, after which seats will be open to students from the greater Copenhagen area, including Lund.
CBS students can register from September 20 and non-CBS students from October 10. If you cannot participate after all, please excuse yourself by contacting Asia Research Centre in order to make room for students on the waiting list. Registered students are expected to read the essential readings before the workshops. Each workshop will be preceded by a public lecture in the morning from 10:00-12:00. To maximize learning outcomes, students are also expected to attend the five public lectures (for information on the public lecture series please see here)
