New Tendencies on Responsible Supply Chain Management (updated)

Conference by CBS and GLOBAL CSR

Monday, May 30, 2011 - 09:00 to 13:00

Update note on the Conference by CBS and GLOBAL CSR held on the May, 30 2011.

New tendencies on responsible supply chain management are emerging in response to the critiques of the current approaches. Recently, the report ‘Changing Course – a study into Responsible Supply Chain Management’ introduced a new approach to supply chain management – RSCM 3.0. The vision for RSCM 3.0 is that it should be possible for international buyers to invest and purchase goods from specific ‘risk-free’ zones without the risk of being involved in violations on standards derived from the ten principles of the UN Global Compact.

The conference focuses on challenges and opportunities from responsible supply chain management. Good practices among front-runner companies will be presented and innovative ways forward will be discussed.
