Deadline and Preparing an application

Our next deadline for the PhD in Finance opening will be on February 1, 2026.

The job opening will be announced in the beginning of December on the official job CBS job portal here.

We will normally announce PhD openings every year in December with an application deadline at the end of January the following year. To be considered, applications must fully comply with all formal requirements and procedures. Non-compliant applications will not be considered.

We encourage applicants to include the letters of support from current or past supervisors and professors, and documentation of GRE and/or GMAT scores.

Applicants should also submit a well-structured project description, which will be assessed as part of the application process. While this description demonstrates the ability to formulate research questions and engage with existing literature, it is not considered a binding commitment, as research can evolve dynamically.
