Pension Research Centre (PeRCent) and Center for Corporate Governance (CCG) are hosting a joint conference on pension fund governance and stewardship on Thursday, June 1, 2023. The event will take place at Copenhagen Business School and online, from 8:30 to 14:00. To register for the conference, please click here before the registration deadline on Thursday, May, 25 at 12:00 o’clock noon.

The conference will explore the evolving role of pension funds, the key issues and trends affecting them, and the challenges and opportunities they face in a rapidly changing investment landscape. With a focus on climate risk and long-term sustainability, attendees will gain insights into the latest academic research and practical strategies for effective pension fund governance.

Speakers include Carine Smith Ihenacho from Norges Bank Investment Management, Gudrun Johnsen from Danmarks Nationalbank and affiliated researcher of PeRCent & CCG, and David Webber, a Professor of Law at Boston University.

The panel discussion will feature Anne Broeng, Carsten Brogaard, Laila Mortensen, and Martin Præstegaard. Lars Rohde, former Governor of Danmarks Nationalbank, will serve as the moderator. Svend E. Hougaard Jensen, Professor of Economics and Director of PeRCent, will provide welcoming remarks, while Lars Ohnemus, Director of CCG, will deliver closing remarks.
