Seminar: Top-3: Occupational Pensions in Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands

On November 28, 2018 PeRcent and PensionDanmark invite you to a joint seminar on occupational pension schemes in three countries: Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands. Learn more about why these countries are in the top-3 in relation to pension systems. The seminar will also discuss some of the most important challenges facing these schemes.

Wednesday, November 28, 2018 - 13:30 to 17:15

About the seminar:

Occupational pension schemes are a vital part of many pension systems that are often considered to be among the best in the world.

At this seminar we focus on three countries - Denmark, Finland, and the Netherlands - where occupational pension schemes are a very important part of the overall pension system. In fact, the Melbourne Mercer Global Pension Index (MMGPI) – which compares pension systems around the world based on their adequacy, sustainability and integrity - ranks the pension systems of Denmark, Finland, and the Netherlands in the top-3.

Experts from the three countries try to identify common elements of success, including the institutional framework within which successful occupational pension systems operate. The seminar will also discuss some of the most important challenges facing these schemes.
