David Lando receives the DSEB Research Prize 2013 for his significant contribution to bridging the gap between research and practice

‘David Lando is recognized for his high-impact publications and his academic investigation in credit risk modeling as well as for his impressive efforts to relate his research to financial regulators and industries’, in the words of the DSEB award committee.

FRIC Center Director, David Lando receives the Research Prize 2013 of 50.000 DKK for his significant contribution to bridging the gap between research and practice.

The award committee noted in particular David’s work on corporate bond liquidity in connection with the crisis and his work on the dynamics of bank and sovereign credit spread in the context of financial sector linkages, both of which  have attracted international attention from academia and the finance industry.

The Prize Winners Reception took place April 3, 2013.
