David Lando is the new Chairman of the board at the Danish FSA

David Lando, director of the Center for Financial Frictions (FRIC), is the new Chairman of the board at the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet)

David Lando, director of the Center for Financial Frictions (FRIC) and professor at the Department of Finance, has been appointed Chairman of the board of the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet) by the Minister for Business and Growth, Brian Mikkelsen.

‘It is a privilege to work with the dedicated and competent employees at the Danish FSA. It is exciting and challenging to work at the heart of the implementation and enforcement of financial regulation in Denmark. My two predecessors have set very high standards for the board’s work and I will do my utmost to continue this,’ says the new Chairman David Lando.

David Lando has served as the vice chairman of the FSA board since its establishment in 2014, and he has been acting chairman since the previous Chairman Henrik Ramlau-Hansen recently stepped down from the post.
