PhD defence: Stine Louise Daetz

In order to obtain the PhD degree, Stine Louise Daetz has submitted her thesis entitled: Essays on Financial Frictions in Lending Markets

The thesis consists of three self-contained essays. The first essay investigates empirically the value of underwriter relationships for issuers of corporate bonds. The second essay studies the relationship between banks’ use of credit protection and the credit provided to firms using unique and comprehensive credit default swap and credit registry data. The final essay analyzes whether central bank liquidity interventions are effective in boosting the real economy by examining the impact of the European Central Banks’ unconventional liquidity injections on corporate investment in the Eurozone.
