David Lando's talk: Why can’t regulation curtail crises?

Saturday June 21 - 1.00pm -1.45pm

Join David Lando, professor at CBS and director of the Center for Financial Frictions (FRIC), on a historical journey in order to shed light on how the financial world always have sought to steer clear of regulation in creative ways, and how the seemingly best solution for one crisis became the foundation for the next.

Which current initiatives can mitigate the effect of future crises – and why will there inevitably be future crises?
