New journal article: What is a Service of General Economic Interest?

CBS Economics Department Associate Professor Grith Ølykke and colleagues have worked out a new peer-reviewed journal article issued in European Journal of Law and Economics. The journal article - What is a Service of General Economic Interest?- discusses the various definitions published by the European Commission and in the literature are examined, and a new definition of a Service of General Economic Interest (SGEI) based on economic theory (networks and network effects) is formed.
