ECON's PhD student receives Student Paper Award

ECON's PhD student Alexandra Lüth together with her two co-authors Jens Weibezahn (TU Berlin) and Jan Martin Zepter (DTU) has been selected to receive a Dennis J. O'Brien Virtual USAEE/IAEE Best Student Paper Award.

ECON's PhD student Alexandra Lüth together with her two co-authors Jens Weibezahn (TU Berlin) and Jan Martin Zepter (DTU) has been selected to receive a Dennis J. O'Brien Virtual USAEE/IAEE Best Student Paper Award. The three PhD students have submitted their work entitled "On Distributional Effects in Local Electricity Market Designs—Evidence from a German Case Study". The work focuses on the implications of market designs for energy communities on fair distribution of costs and benefits. It is published in Energies and can be found here.
