01/07/2016

CBS Department of Economics Professor Dolores Romero Morales has been appointed member of the Management Committee of the Mathematics for Industry Network (MI-NET). MI-NET aims to facilitate more effective widespread application of mathematics to all industrial sectors, by encouraging greater interaction between mathematicians and industrialists. The objective is to create a Europe-wide partnership to promote collaboration in, and the benefits of, industrial mathematics.

MI-NET is a so-called “COST Action” – European Cooperation in Science and Technology. COST is an intergovernmental organization supporting the collaboration of nationally funded science and technology research through the creation of networks. COST Action networks allow scientists to grow their ideas by sharing them with their peers and thereby give impetus to their research, career and innovation. COST is supported by the EU Framework Programme Horizon 2020.
