CBS Professor contributes to 2024 SEIO-FBBVA award winning project

Last week our colleague, Dolores Romero Morales together with co-authors Emilio Carrizosa (Professor at The Institute of Mathematics of the University of Seville (IMUS)) and Jasone Ramírez Ayerbe (Postdoctoral researcher at The University of Montreal) received the 2024 SEIO-FBBVA award for the best contribution in Statistics and Operational Research applied to Data Science and Big Data, for the paper "Mathematical optimization modelling for group counterfactual explanations", published in the European Journal of Operational Research. The jury considered this an original contribution to the field of Explainable Artificial Intelligence.
