Henrik Axelsen (HA) is a Postdoc (part-time) at the Department of Digitalization at CBS. Alongside HA is also co-founder of a fintech startup (Pixelpai) building a web3 financial compliance infrastructure for creator economies. HA holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and a master’s degree in law, both from the University of Copenhagen, as well as an executive MBA from CBS. His research focuses on Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO) and blockchain-based business models (web3). HA was previously a senior partner in EY and before that he worked in professional and financial services. He has industry experience primarily from Banking but has also worked in Insurance, Energy, Government, Manufacturing, Information Technology, Transportation and Infrastructure. He has project, research and work experience from US, UK, EU, Australia, Middle East and Africa.
