Daniel Fürstenau is an Assistant Professor at the Copenhagen Business School Department of Digitalization. His research areas are IT management and digital platforms and ecosystems, especially in a healthcare context. He is also an affiliated professor at the Einstein Center Digital Future Berlin and a lecturer and head of a work group on Digital Transformation and IT Infrastructures at FU Berlin. He is the co-speaker of the Digital Health Group at the German Informatics Society and a member of the AIS and the Academy of Management. Daniel’s work on digital infrastructures published in Information Systems Research has been awarded with the OCIS Best Paper Award Runner Up at the Academy of Management 2020.
