Mart Laatsit is a doctoral researcher and lecturer at the Copenhagen Business School. He has held several government positions in the field of innovation policy, most recently as the head of innovation policy in the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Estonia. During his tenure as a policy maker, he was also the chairman of the European Commission task-force on innovation procurement. His research focuses on innovation policy, both on complex innovation systems and their evaluation, as well as the role of networks in policy learning. Last year Mart was a visiting scholar at MIT Sloan School of Management, working with the System Dynamics Group and Innovation Policy Lab.
